Usually, it takes around 6-12 months for you to start seeing the full impact of SEO through the amount of enquiries you are getting.

Even after the 12 month+ stage, you would usually keep seeing increasing enquiries as you build a legacy within Google and gain secondary keyword rankings.

Timelines do however vary based on the type of SEO you require and many other variables such as your business age, industry, previous marketing efforts etc.

Local SEO you can usually start to see results within the first 90 days.

Regional SEO takes longer and you will usually see results within the first 6 months, this could be as long as 12 months if you are trying to rank in larger cities. 

With National SEO you shouldn't expect to start seeing tangible results until around the 12 month mark, if your industry is super competitive this could be closer towards 18 months.

However, if your business is a niche, you can rip the rule book up a little. We have implemented national SEO for some businesses and got results within the first 6 months, even in industries that weren't super niche.

It is worth noting that if you are a new business or you have only recently bought a domain name, it is likely that the timeframes of when you start seeing results could be a lot longer.

Organic traffic is getting ranked in Google's listings that do not require any ad spend, meaning when you get clicked on by someone searching for your company or the services you provide it doesn't cost you any money for that click.

Paid ads are when you are charged every time someone clicks on your ad (Pay-Per-Click). This can be changed and charged based on conversions but that's a conversation for another day.

Statistical data tells us that users prefer organic rankings as they convert higher (2-3 times) than paid adverts do, however, as you have found out from the question above "How long does SEO take" it takes time to get those rankings, whereas paid ads can go live and get found on the first page usually the same day you set your campaign live.

The first 4 listings will have a little "ad" next to them on the left, if you scroll further down, usually past the maps and some questions that might be there, you will see a different bunch of listings (10 in total) that do not have the word ad next to them - these are organic listings which are part of SEO, then followed by another 3 listings which also have"ad" next to them.

This is a tough question but one of our favourites. 

If you type this question into Google you will see many people talking about how no reputable agency will guarantee rankings as rankings can not be guaranteed due to how many changes the likes of Google make on a daily and monthly basis, and other ranking factors like your competitor's strategy etc.

This is completely true, with SEO nothing is guaranteed, ever.

However, with enough experience in SEO and a track record of getting many businesses ranked on the first page of search engines like Google, you can make an educated guess on whether you will be able to deliver rankings for a client.

With our FAQs we always try and give you factual information rather than using this space to blow our own trumpet, however, for this question, we will make a small exception to be able to articulate our answer more effectively.

Over the last few years, we have outranked multimillion and multinational brands on Google, even businesses spending 100x the amount our clients are.

Usually, an SEO company or a company that provides SEO services will know if they are able to rank your business or not based on certain factors just like we can.

The key difference is, are they willing to be honest with what is achievable at the risk of losing your business? They might not be able to get you ranked and you could be wasting your money if you try.

Therefore our guarantee is more about honesty than it is about guaranteed rankings.

We will never tell a business we can get them ranked if we cannot and we will ONLY implement SEO if we truly believe we can get you results, therefore, if we say that we can but it turns out we cannot, that's on us and we will refund your money.

The answer to this question is very similar to the "Are SEO rankings guaranteed?" question.

It cannot be guaranteed that you will rank ahead of your competitors as there are many factors and variables which go into rankings. 

If for example, your competitors are working with a very good SEO company, spending a lot of money and have been doing it for a long time, it can be difficult to rank above them.

With larger companies or national businesses, this can often be the case. If your competitors are not one of the businesses mentioned above (most businesses are either small or micro businesses) there is a good chance that your competitors are not spending huge sums of money on SEO nor have they been doing it for a long time, which means that it will be easier for you to outrank them.

Every industry is different and each business has a different marketing strategy (many businesses do not have one at all)
